As a caregiver team member, you are vital to the satisfaction and safety of the patients we serve. We understand that you became a caregiver to provide compassionate care and to assist patients in living their lives to the fullest. To contribute to your success as a caregiver, we provide a software platform that you will use to document changes in patient behavior, request advanced clinical and/or medical support, and suggest new ways of providing better outcomes for the patient.
We have been with Our Care of Florida for two years now. It has been a very good experience. They do household, they do personal care with my wife, and they do respite for me. My wife is a fall risk. At this time, she is in a wheelchair and she needs somebody with her at all times. Most of the caregivers have been very good. Since my wife is fully aware, fully conscious and very capable, we're particular about who comes into the home. Our caregivers have been very sensitive and just very willing to assist us right from the beginning. They're good with their caregivers, and they're good with us as well. They're right on top with things. The people who are heading our care really have their hearts in it.
I have been using Our Care of Florida for a few months now. My experience with it has been very good. They provide me with pretty much anything I need, back and forth to the doctor's. Here, they assist me with bathing and dressing because I'm having difficulty with those. With this Covid19 and my health issues, I don't get out too much, and I stay primarily at home. My family feels comfortable with them coming in to assist me. I'm very articulated about it because I'm a retired RN. The care has been immaculate, I would say. One of the administrators is very articulate about checking and making sure everything is OK. She is also calling periodically, and I can always call her. I think the agency is what we need.
Our Care has provided the sweetest and most caring people that I have ever met. I can honestly say they are loving and loved by my husband. I have seen a big difference in him since he has consistency in his care. Thanks to Keelie and Stephen!
I highly recommend Our Care, we had them for our dad and I just can’t say enough about them, they are wonderful and caring, the girls that came in the home were fantastic, caring individuals, because of them we were able to keep my dad home and comfortable until he passed. Please don’t hesitate to use them.
Stephen joined OurCare in 2017 in order to establish the first OurCare office in Sun City Center, FL. During his 10 years in the home health care industry Stephen has focused on the importance of developing strong and meaningful relationships with his teams and translating that into quality in-home care by inspiring those around him. His fundamental belief is that if we can inspire and empower those that we lead then those that we serve can expect to benefit from their full potential.
Before OurCare, Stephen opened and developed over half a dozen home care markets and established his organizations as the preferred providers in each market. Through his success he was able to learn and grow as a leader and innovator in the home care industry. He aspires to help others succeed and grow both personally and professionally and uses home care as his vehicle to achieve this. With this at the core of his being, Stephen brings communities of clients, caregivers and family members together in order to facilitate trusting, long lasting and mutually beneficial relationships.
Stephen has been in and around the Sun City, FL community since 2010 and continues to pursue his mission there with OurCare of Florida. He currently resides in Tampa, FL with his wife Ashley and dog Winston with hopes of children in the near future.
Kate started with OurCare in 2015, working closely with Andrew, with the hopes of making a better home care experience for client’s and their families. Home care is more than just someone coming into a client’s home to help with daily tasks. It’s about building a personal relationship with the client’s while maintaining their dignity and independence.
Prior to joining the OurCare team, Kate worked in nursing field for over 12yrs. Her experience includes sub-acute care, nursing homes, working with adults and children with physical and intellectual deficits, and finally home care. Kate has spent the last 8 years in home care, whether working as a shift nurse giving hands on care, or in the director capacity, educating and guiding aides and nurses on delivering the best care possible. Home care has been the most rewarding experience a nurse could ask for, as client’s have a better quality of life in their own homes than in a facility.
Kate continues to strive toward providing compassionate care with OurCare, with the support of her husband and daughter.
Danny Murray began his healthcare career in 2007. Early into his professional journey, Danny learned that he mostly enjoys working conjunctively with clinical and nonclinical healthcare professionals to create and deliver the best possible levels of care to the members of our communities in need.
Danny joined the OurCare team in August of 2020 where he has established the first OurCare office in Texas. We were excited to learn of the synergies between the company’s values and his. Danny brings with him a proven track record in developing teams by instilling cultural values and creating models of excellence in productivity, operations, and exemplary customer service. As do the other members in the OurCare team, he is passionate in working with professionals to upgrade levels of service and create a culture of pride and performance.
Danny currently lives in Dallas, TX with his wife, their young daughter, and Nahla the Great Dane. Danny’s wife, Stephanie, is a Licensed Medical Social Worker and values similar passions in helping others as Danny does.
Andrew founded OurCare on the principles that the traditional home health care model was antiquated and inefficient, thus leading to poor patient satisfaction and caregiver retention alike. In observation of these inadequacies, Andrew set out to build a team of likeminded, and experienced professionals that could assist him in the development in what today is known as OurCare In-Home Health Services. By utilizing the resources and technology of today and harnessing its devotion to the communities in which it serves, OurCare has been able to successfully blend an innovative approach to the traditional home health care industry. By doing so, OurCare has revitalized the patient experience, is rated among the top employers in the home health industry, and is building its reputation within the communities in which they serve.
Prior to OurCare, Andrew worked within the home health care industry where he honed and developed his skills and insights. Andrew held such titles as Director of Business Development, and Director of Operations to name a few. An admitted serial entrepreneur, before entering into the home health care industry Andrew founded, cofounded, purchased and exited various businesses, many of which were in the retail and technology space.
Andrew continues to devote his time and resources to the development of OurCare. He resides in the greater Sarasota area with his wife and two young children.
Domenic graduated from St. John’s University in 2010 with a bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration. Originally a pre-law major, he decided to change paths after an impactful healthcare elective where he saw the ability to help people in a greater volume, rather than the one on one role of an attorney.
Shortly after Domenic graduated his father was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer. He withdrew from his graduate program in the fall of 2010 to become his father’s full-time caregiver until he passed away in January of 2011. Through tragedy, he was able to see a potential opportunity to help improve the lives of families in their most vulnerable time and decided to apply for positions in the homecare industry.
For two years he was a recruiter at Maxim Healthcare Services and was able to learn about in industry and state specific regulations in greater detail. Faced with a promotion, he decided to resign from Maxim and invest his entire inheritance in OurCare with the ultimate goal of Empowering Communities by Inspiring the Spirit of Human Connection.
Domenic is a current, and life-long NYS resident finishing his MBA at Iona University. He is actively involved with all of the day to day operations of OurCare as well as fully committed to the future success of the organization and all of its members.
